Staff Profile- Introducing Nanette

This week we interviewed Nanette from our Mundaring Office.

How long have you worked for Real Estate Plus?

9 years as of June 1st.

Briefly explain your role and what an average day in the office is for you? 

Senior Sales Consultant in Mundaring (and Jill of all trades).  A typical day in the office might include taking buyer enquiry calls about properties I have for sale; making appointments with buyers and potential sellers; following up on sales that are heading toward settlement with the various parties as needed to keep them on track; writing copy for ads or webpages for properties I have for sale; speaking with people that are in my database that will be selling in the future and provide market updates; meeting with buyers and sellers to do paperwork or look at property; choosing photography; following up with buyers and sellers relating to home opens and appointments; managing keys; researching the market, particular properties or related issues; organising signs and brochures; having coffee with a client; answering phones, email and facebook; backing up the rest of the Mundaring team, making tea/coffee and emptying the trash.

Why do you love working at Real Estate Plus?

The people and the culture.  I have worked at a lot of places and with a lot of different people before I started here and, for the most part, this is the best place I’ve ever worked.  Shared values of honesty, integrity, respect, optimism, punctuality, leading by example, lifelong learning and a healthy dose of fun and hugs go a long way to make me want to show up every day!

Share a fun fact about yourself? 

I was in Playboy when I was four!  (We were friends/neighbours with the centerfold!)
