Spring Time Cleaning!

It is officially spring! Spring is one of the busier seasons for real estate with a lot of properties preparing to go to market. If you are considering placing your property on the market soon, here is a spring cleaning checklist to help you prepare to do so:-

 Kitchen:

> Remove anything from the kitchen that doesn’t below

> Clean and disinfect the rubbish bin

> Wipe down the exterior of the fridge

> Wipe, clean and organise the interior of the fridge

> Clean the oven

> Clean and disinfect the coffee machine

> Clean out food pantry and throw away expired goods

> Reorganise the food pantry

> Deep clean and polish cabinet doors

> Deep clean floors

Bathroom:

> Clean air vents

> Clean and disinfect toothbrush holders

> Clean mirror

> Clean shower curtain/glass

> Disinfect countertops

> Scrub the shower and/or bathtub

> Scrub walls

> Clean and organise cabinets

Living Area/Family Areas:

> Dust everything include ceiling fans

> Clean windows and window seals

> Disinfect remote controls and gaming devices

> Vacuum under furniture and in between cushions

> Remove scuff marks from doors

> Declutter and reorganise

Bedrooms

> Dust everything

> Vacuum lampshades

> Clean light fixtures and light globes

> Clean and organise your dresser

> Clean your mattress and under your bed

> Wash bedsheets, quilts and pillows

> Disinfect light switches

All over the house:

> Clean window treatments & wash window screens

> Dust your home thoroughly

> Polish metal door and window hardware

> Vacuum and shampoo rugs
> Reseal grout lines
