I Remember When with Milton Rendell

Do you remember when our first office opened in the Hills?

Well we are coming up to Valentine’s Day and the Mundaring, Chidlow and Forrestfield offices all were opened on a Valentine’s Day over the years.

Our Mundaring office opening in 2006 seems like only yesterday but eleven years is a long time especially in real estate.

I can remember John Druce and I chatting during mid-2005 about some ideas that I had on expansion, having myself lived in Darlington for 12 years and I saw Mundaring as the next step of the plan for our brand.

That first day in Mundaring was a busy one with a morning barbeque breakfast as well ribbon cutting to open the office.

The success of Mundaring led to the expansion to Chidlow in 2009 and Bakers Hill in 2011.

John and I have been good friends for many years going right back to when I started in real estate 1987.

John had started in real estate the year before as did Lynda Moore who now operates the Bakers Hill office and all three of us have been great mates for a long time.

To extend the brand in partnership with good people has always been our focus.

The campaign we used to open Mundaring is still very much the same today, that Real Estate Plus loves the Hills and I think we have proven that.

Our experienced teams have had great success and over the years we have added other great people to the leadership team with Lee Nangle joining us in 2009 now in partnership with John in Mundaring.

We continue to see how we can improve our services to our clients.

All our teams from every office work well together sharing their experiences and knowledge.

In this way, we have been able to create a far reaching service model through the Swan Hills region.

I enjoy my trips to the Hills to catch up with the teams and in recent times Jo, Beverley and Alison in the Chidlow office have been smashing records in the area with some excellent results

This Valentine’s Day three of our offices will celebrate their birthday and there is plenty to look back on and be proud of, well done guys.
