REIWA’s Positive Updates about Midland.

There was a special mention of the Midland Market and the expansions plans in the seventy third edition of REIWA News. The article outlines both the State Government and The City of Swan planning frameworks aimed at the creation of 8,000 new homes and more than 270,000sqm of office and retail space in Midland.

The plans include the redevelopment of the 11 hectare Midland Oval precinct which will get an entire make over. The article describes the oval as becoming a high density housing hub and town centre carrying as many as 1,000 new homes and 115,000sqm of retail and commercial space, as well as a library and piazza.

This is definitely a positive and exciting time for the area of Midland, not only with the above plans taking shape but also the confirmation of federal funding for a New Curtain University Medical School in Midland which is projected to open in 2017. The article discussed that this project is expected to boost the districts’ homebuyer and tenancy appeal, also of note is the new Midland Hospital opening at the end of this year which too could potentially increase buyer activity within the area. This REIWA articles proves once again that Midland proving its becoming the jewel in the crown for the Eastern Suburbs. A great place to live, invest and grow.
